Q: Why is Chien-Shiung Wu a significant women?
A: Chien-Shiung Wu was a significant women because she participated in the "Manhattan Project" which was something that was a big part of history. She had put all her knowledge in the project, and she tried her best trying to develop the project, though it may have been very hard and stressing. To me, That shows that she was not only significant, but she is also a hero for doing something no other women would even think to do during those times. Also her participation, also may have showed the women that they have a choice on what they can do, and not be judged for it. She became the first Physicists in America as well. Q: How would society be different if Chien-Shiung Wu didn't make a difference? A: If Chien-Shiung Wu didn't make a difference (Meaning that she didn't participate in the Manhattan Project) then it may have been not possible for the Manhattan Project to be a success, and World War 2 may have lasted longer, or even get worse. If Chien-Shiung Wu didn't do a difference, and the Manhattan project was a success, the atomic bombs may have had different results, or it would've been designed a different way. Q: What is the Manhattan project? A: The Manhattan Project is a project that Wu participated in around the 1939's. The reason for the Manhattan Project was to just simply end World War 2.
